As roofing contractors, Midport are dedicated to safe working
practices as Health & Safety for our employees and our customers is a prime consideration on every project
and as with all aspects of our operations, these are undertaken,
planned, designed and executed with the same meticulous attention to
detail, ensuring comprehensive site safety conditions for our site
operatives and those around them, and total peace of mind for site
management.
Responsible for the day to day safe running of site operations,
George Hodgetts enthusiastically endorses Midport's policy of
comprehensive site safety; "With so many projects all running
concurrently, the additional time and effort we routinely invest in
planning our safety strategies rewards us handsomely in the long
run. Whenever I arrive on site, I know for certain that we will have
a cast iron safety policy and method statement in place, which means
more time to devote to attending to client and contractor needs".
All of our skilled operatives are fully aware of the Health & Safety
Regulations placed upon them and a Method Statement and Risk
Assessment is always put into place and all Insurance details
provided.
All our operatives are CSCS card holders and hold all relevant NVQ's.
Also, our operatives hold the IPAF card for using cherry pickers,
scissor lifts and other platforms alike.
